 Crosswinds is an
inter-denominational Christian prayer charity which aims to mobilise, equip
and teach people on Christian Prayer.Many thousand of people will be familiar with the Crosswinds Week of Prayer initiative which established a continuous 52-week canopy of prayer for the United Kingdom, through a partnership of interceding churches, organised and mobilised throughout much of the grid of the UK's 124 post-code areas in recent years. Crosswinds also co-ordinates global partnerships of intercession, via the Internet - for example during the Lambeth Conferences of 1998 and 2008 through Pray Lambeth. The Crosswinds team are major partners in producing and distributing the Prayer Alert weekly news and Prayer digest by email. Crosswinds are members of the Prayer Forum of the British Isles and Ireland. We are currently working with partner organisations on an internet Prayer Portal called a Prayer Hub which will launch late 2009. Information pack on the Ark of Prayer Appeal is here.
