Africa 24-7 Prayer Summit 2026 — Equipping a Continent for Non-Stop Prayer
We're delighted to introduce a key gathering happening this year: the Africa 24-7 Prayer Summit 2026, hosted by our friends and partners Daniel and Estell Brink at Jericho Walls International Prayer Network (JWIPN), taking place 24th–27th August 2026 at the Devon Valley Hotel near Cape Town, South Africa.
The Summit exists to encourage and equip leaders across the continent to establish and sustain 24-7 prayer watches — turning the vision of unbroken, day-and-night prayer into a living, lasting reality in cities and communities all over Africa. It's part of Jericho Walls' wider "7 Days on the Wall" initiative, a movement that began in South Africa following the World Prayer Assembly in Indonesia back in 2012, and has since grown to see 40 nations across Africa, Europe, and Asia engaging in weeks of continuous prayer for revival each year.
Testimonies from past Summits speak for themselves. Rev. Sharlene Hendricks of the Moravian Church first established a 24-7 prayer group in Cape Town after Covid-19 — and after attending the Summit, she went on to plant a second prayer watch in Wupperthal, which has since grown to 60 members. "Praise God for your obedience as a team," she said. "I am motivated to start a 24-7 for Wupperthal mission station!"
Delegates can expect practical teaching and equipping alongside rich fellowship, led by Daniël — who has been instrumental in mobilising prayer globally through initiatives like 7 Days on the Wall, and under whose leadership Jericho Walls has established multiple 24-7 prayer watches in partnership with international networks — alongside author and Bible teacher Estell, whose passion for God's Word and prayer shapes the teaching she brings.
