Global Week of 24-7 Prayer – 6-13 September

We invite you to join the Global Week of 24-7 Prayer, running 6th–13th September 2026, as churches and communities in every nation on earth come together for a whole week of unbroken, day-and-night prayer.
This is a movement born from 24-7 Prayer International — the interdenominational prayer movement that began in 1999 when a simple student-led prayer vigil went viral, and has since seen thousands of communities across half the countries on earth take up non-stop prayer. Last year's first-ever Global Week of Prayer saw 140 nations host day-and-night prayer, with churches filling with fresh passion, physical pain miraculously disappearing, and strangers knocking on prayer room doors asking about Jesus.
This year's theme, At the Name of Jesus, is a call to unite across national borders and denominational lines to lift up the name of Jesus above every other. In a divided world, this is a moment of profound unity as the global Church stands together.
A 24-7 Prayer Room is simply a creative space that enables a chain of unbroken prayer — you only need people willing to pray, a shared space, and a way to organise time slots so prayer never stops. It doesn't need to be a church building either — prayer rooms have sprung up in caravans, sheds, school rooms, and even breweries! And if an in-person room isn't possible in your context, a virtual or hybrid room works just as well.

Every hour of prayer counts, even if you can't fill all 168 hours of the week — collaboration with other churches and ministries in your area is warmly encouraged.
