Former tarot card reader Alexandra Ashcroft has publicly renounced her involvement in tarot reading after embracing faith in Jesus Christ. Known online as 'Alex in the Ordinary', she had built a large social media following with more than 900,000 followers before announcing she would delete her tarot content and stop offering readings. Ashcroft explained that her decision followed a year-long spiritual journey of prayer, reflection, and growing faith, culminating in the conviction that 'Jesus Christ has saved my life’. She has since launched a new social media account dedicated to sharing Scripture and encouraging others in the Christian faith. In her first videos, she spoke openly about the transforming power of Christ, the significance of His crucifixion, and her willingness to endure criticism because of her commitment to Him. Having removed her previous material, she now sees her life as a testimony to God’s saving grace and hopes others searching for truth will discover the hope, forgiveness, and new life found in Jesus Christ.
