Tyson Fury 'sets record straight' in message about his reliance on God

Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has publicly declared his dependence on Jesus Christ, insisting that his sporting achievements, strength and success are gifts from God. In a social media video, he challenged suggestions that he should take personal credit for his accomplishments rather than glorifying Jesus. Despite achieving fame, wealth and championship titles, he said material success means nothing without God. Fury expressed particular gratitude for his wife Paris, their children and the blessings of family life, describing these as far more important than boxing victories. Speaking openly about sin, salvation and grace, he declared that forgiveness comes through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Fury credited God with giving him the mental strength, endurance and resilience needed throughout his career, including the determination to recover from setbacks. Preparing for a highly anticipated December fight against Anthony Joshua in Cardiff, Fury encouraged followers to place their faith in God, declaring that everything he has achieved ultimately belongs to Him.
