Ex-Muslim evangelist urges Christians to share the Gospel

Saudi Arabian evangelist Ahmed Joktan has shared how an encounter with Jesus transformed his life, despite severe persecution following his conversion from Islam. Raised in a devout Muslim family, he memorised the Quran by age 13 and initially pursued medical studies. While visiting New Zealand to learn English, he experienced a vivid dream involving a mysterious figure and a building with white pillars. The following day, he discovered a church resembling the building in his dream, where a pastor shared the Gospel with him. After accepting Jesus Christ as his Saviour, he returned to Saudi Arabia carrying an Arabic New Testament. When his family discovered his conversion, he suffered violent attacks, lost 13 teeth and was disowned. Nevertheless, he remains steadfast in his faith and now leads Mecca to Christ Ministries International, supporting Christian converts and sharing the Gospel with Muslims worldwide. Joktan encourages Western Christians to overcome fear, build respectful friendships with Muslims, and confidently share their personal testimonies of encountering Jesus.
