Yorkshire: Christian influencer amazed at mass baptism

Around 550 people were baptised in the North Sea at Bridlington, during an extraordinary gathering celebrating Christian faith. Large crowds assembled on 10 October to witness the baptisms, organised by Christian social media influencer Merlin Kraft, widely known as BibleLad UK. Video footage showed participants queuing along the beach before entering the water to publicly declare their commitment to following Jesus Christ. Kraft expressed amazement at the turnout, suggesting it could be one of the largest mass baptisms Britain has witnessed in recent years. The event follows another remarkable gathering organised in September by Kraft in Devon, when 170 people were baptised. He says he organised these events after receiving numerous requests from people across Britain eager to take this step of faith. The growing response demonstrates how social media can bring people together for evangelism, baptism and Christian fellowship, providing opportunities for churches to nurture new believers. See
