Thousands of Christians gathered at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium for a major day of prayer, worship and Gospel-centred declarations led by Nigerian pastor Jerry Eze. The free NSPPD UK Prayer Conference, organised by Streams of Joy International, attracted worshippers from across Britain and beyond, filling large sections of the 74,000-capacity stadium. Gospel artists including Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan, Sunmisola Agbebi and Kaestrings helped lead worship during the gathering. Eze founded a daily online prayer ministry attracting a substantial global audience, and leads Streams of Joy International, which has churches and ministries in several countries. The Manchester gathering followed other large NSPPD events in Britain, including a 2024 conference at Twickenham attended by an estimated 80,000 people. Participants regularly share testimonies of answered prayer and healing through the ministry. After the event, Eze expressed his gratitude to Jesus, describing himself as overwhelmed by what had happened and giving God all the glory for the gathering.
