Christians in Iran are facing renewed persecution as authorities intensify their crackdown following recent conflict with the United States and Israel. Iranian officials have designated several overseas Christian media organisations as "hostile", warning that even engaging with their broadcasts could result in lengthy prison sentences. Reports also describe the seizure of one of Iran's oldest Protestant churches, the forced eviction of Christian families living on church property, and a growing wave of arrests targeting Christian converts. Human rights advocates say converts are increasingly portrayed as agents of foreign powers, leading to imprisonment, harsh sentences, and denial of basic legal protections. Several believers remain in prison under accusations linked to national security, while others have reportedly disappeared or been denied essential medical care. Church leaders and religious freedom organisations are urging the international community to speak out and press Iran to uphold fundamental freedoms of religion, conscience, and belief, while continuing to pray for courage and perseverance among the country's growing Christian community.
